We had a milestone event in our family on Friday, when Mom had both of her granddaughters spend the night at her house at the same time. Although I am confident that the destruction of the interior of her home is quite complete, all three of them seem to have enjoyed the experience. Mom dropped Sarah off yesterday morning in time for us to meet our friends Biff and Leah at Metro Pizza in Hunter's Crossing shopping center in Alcoa. We came home and let Sarah play in the water in the back yard and enjoyed a rather mellow Saturday afternoon. The girls are getting ready to go over to the animal shelter to do a couple of hours of volunteer work, but that's all we have planned so far for today.
UPDATE: We just realized that we left our leftover pizza, about half a pie, in the trunck of Sherry's car, which is now quite fragrant.
