April 15 is the deadline for filing income tax returns, and it is also usually when they bring the lake levels up for the spring. Maybe we'll drive out to my old stomping grounds in Louisville this weekend and have a look.
CORRECTION: As the former law partner of one of my county's best tax attorneys I am embarrassed to state that tax returns are due on Monday, April 18, this year, rather than April 15 as I incorrectly reported above.
