Interstate Scare

Sherry picked Sarah up from school early today and just called to let me know that they are safely in Nashville after a bit of a scare on the interstate. They hit what she described as a part of a crate or a drawer, and pulled over on the shoulder to check for damage. She didn't find any, and had called me from a mechanic's garage where they are conducting a further inspection. She said a guy in another car also hit the debris in the road, and pulled over just ahead of her. The cad got out of his car, checked his vehicle, and drove away without making any effort to see if the womenfolk in the car behind him were okay.
