Rice Eli Olds

Behold the Curved Dash Model R1 Oldsmobile, which rolled off the assembly line in 1901. Car Lust recently had an interesting article on Rice Eli Olds, the father of the Oldsmobile, and the cars, music and musicians he inspired. My first car was a yellow Delta 88 Royale, and my third car was a blue Delta 88 Royale (lovingly known as the Bluesmobile, with apologies to Jake and Elwood Blues), so I've always had a fond spot for Oldsmobiles.
