The storm system that moved across Tennessee yesterday hit Franklin County, where our family cabin is located in Estill Springs, pretty hard, destroying property and causing one fatality. Our local NBC affiliate just reported that Estill Springs was one of the areas hit, so we'll ask the Estill Springs Police Department to have an officer take a look at our place to be sure it is not damaged since it is in the woods.
UPDATE: The Today Show began today with a live report from Estill Springs. I hope the crew stopped in for breakfast at the Sample Family Restaurant.
