Rachael Ray Hard Anodized Cookware

My wife is a fan of Rachael Ray and her show Thirty Minute Meals. Sherry's mom bought her a set of Rachael Ray's hard anodized cookware for her birthday, and we really like it. The instructions that came with the cookware say that putting it in the dishwasher damages the coating, but the stuff cleans up so easily you don't really need to use the dishwasher on it anyway.
