The Daily Telegraph reports that Jimmy Buffett has been hospitalized after falling from a stage in Sydney, Australia, where he was playing a gig. He was finishing the show with a rendition of "Lovely Cruise," was blinded by lighting and fell from the stage. Witnesses reported he was unconscious after the fall and that he had a big gash in his head. He is in stable condition at a local hospital. There's video of the fall here.
UPDATE: Margaritaville.com reports Buffett is "doing well and will be released tomorrow" from the hospital.
