Ijams Nature Center

I recently took Sarah to Ijams Nature Center, which is in the Island Home community in South Knoxville. I had a hard time finding the place with directions from MapQuest, which took us there via James White Parkway, but now that I know where it is I'll get there via Sevier Avenue off of Henley Street. Also the day we went the visitor's center was closed, although that was not noted on their website, so I'll call before our next visit. Sarah's favorite part of the visit was this little cabin.

There were several cool wood carvings, including this raccoon.

We were going to walk down to the river, but Sarah wanted to turn around shortly after we crossed this bridge.
