A friend of Mom's sent her this picture from the ski resort on Sugar Mountain, North Carolina. I'm not a skier myself, but I have been up to Sugar Mountain a couple of times with friends who are. Mom used to live in Blowing Rock, and Laura used to live in Seven Devils, though we called it Eight Devils when she lived there. I also used to have a bunch of friends that lived in Boone and Blowing Rock, so I know the North Carolina High Country pretty well. Tuesday, December 21, 2010
Sugar Mountain
A friend of Mom's sent her this picture from the ski resort on Sugar Mountain, North Carolina. I'm not a skier myself, but I have been up to Sugar Mountain a couple of times with friends who are.
