I adore the idea of thoughtful newspaper readers at various genteel locations around the country getting the local softball tournament scores, seeing how much the next royal wedding will cost, checking the daily lottery numbers, taking in the latest episode of Pluggers, reading the minutes of the local school board meeting and learning all about tentacle porn.
