I had some trouble with this item from Calvin's List. Hopefully this won't make me sound self-righteous, but I don't have a lot of possessions that I prize. I use my laptop all the time and would hate if anything happened to it, but that's more about the data than the device. I have lots of little knickknacks in my office that I like, but nothing that I'd run into a fire to save. Even the comics are replaceable.
The only thing I'd really miss if it was gone is our house. Mostly for the memories (David's spent his whole life there), but also because we've put some work into it and it's a pretty cool house.
