Beth Phoenix def. Eve (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Last Monday night, Beth Phoenix shocked the WWE Universe when she brutalized Divas Champion Kelly Kelly after winning a battle royal to become the No. 1 contender to the beauty’s title. Tonight, she made it clear that the attack was no accident.

After smashing the talented Eve, The Glamazon grabbed the microphone and again stated that the era of pretty Divas dominating WWE is over. Yet, just as Beth made her way to the locker room, she was cracked out of nowhere by a fiery Kelly Kelly.

Not one to be intimidated, the gorgeous competitor is definitely ready for Sunday’s showdown with the powerful Glamazon.

Teacher's Pets

“A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.”
Henry Adams

Maybe it was your ninth grade English teacher who taught you to persevere. Or it was a college professor who encouraged you to do well outside of the classroom. All of the WWE Universe, young and old, can remember a teacher who has made an impact. The Superstars and Divas of WWE are no different. Scroll below to find out some of their favorite teachers, and the influence those educators had on their lives.

John Cena: Herm Deihl, seventh grade history teacher. He loved America, loved history and got me into history. At the same time, he was cool on a 13-year-old level. He was 65 years old, but just was himself and didn't try too hard and it sunk in, and made me a fanatic about history.

Eve: Mr. Gilberto, my fifth grade teacher. He was actually my math teacher, and that's when I discovered that math was not only my favorite subject, but I had alot of potential in that field. He was the first one to really push me - from then on I was focused and even skipped a grade in math. He was always positive and light-hearted.
Brie Bella:My favorite teacher was my junior year English teacher in high school. Not only was he cute, wearing his hair back in a ponytail, he had so much passion. He would be these characters and raise his voice or have different facial expressions. He made learning really fun.

Evan Bourne: My high school Spanish teacher - Senora Kaiser. I am not a typical learner - I learn best by doing things. She always took time with me to help me, and now I have Spanish ingrained in the back of my head. Now, when we tour, I have a little bit of an extra step ahead of the other Superstars because I can speak some Spanish.

Kelly Kelly: Ms. Harris. She did our TV production class. Every morning I was the anchorwoman for our news so she wrote the show and really helped us out. She was very hands-on. She was really helpful to me because she knew it was something I was very interested in and wanted to go to college for. She went above and beyond.

The Miz: My high school spanish teacher - Senora Richeld. My name in her class was Paco. She was trying to teach Spanish, and I would get kicked out every day. But I got straight A's in the class and she loved me. Now, when we go to Mexico, I can get on the mic in the middle of the ring and speak Spanish and everyone knows what I'm saying. So thank you on behalf of everyone in Mexico, Senora, because they can understand what I'm saying!

Jerry "The King" Lawler: My favorite teacher may have actually saved my life. Her name was Helen Hall in Memphis, and she was my high school art teacher. She was one of the greatest artists I had ever known. She was a motivational teacher. When I graduated, the Vietnam War was right at its height, and guys were getting drafted right out of high school. She had put together a portfolio of my work and sent it off to the University of Memphis where I received a full commercial art scholarship.

John Morrison: Mr. Howard, eighth grade science. Sometimes it's not about what they taught, but how they taught it. He would always start class with a long story about monsters or himself back in the day - and class was right after lunch. It was a good way to start, because that's usually nap time for me.

WWE Summerslam 2011 preview

Divas Champion Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix
The Biggest Event of the Summer just got a whole lot hotter, as Beth Phoenix will challenge Divas Champion Kelly Kelly for the illustrious Divas Championship at SummerSlam. And if winning the title means destroying Kelly in the process ... well, so be it.
Since claiming her first Divas Championship, Kelly Kelly has been on an absolute tear, scoring a barrage of high-profile victories in singles, tag team and even 7-on-7 Divas Tag Team match-ups. Kelly Kelly has practically grown up before the WWE Universe’s eyes, working more than five years to get her chance to shine. Yet even though her triumphs appear as golden as the August sun, the challenge she is about to face could ultimately leave her scorched.
In a Raw Battle Royal featuring both Raw and SmackDown Divas to determine the No. 1 contender to the blonde bombshell, The Glamazon overcame the entire Divas locker room. Perhaps one of the most heralded and dominant Divas ever to grace WWE, one thing has fallen out of her grasp – the Divas Championship. As she hoisted both Bellas out of the ring, Beth Phoenix grabbed her chance at the butterfly-emblazoned title, and took aim at Kelly Kelly, proclaiming: “Your days as the cute, little blonde-haired bimbo are over.” (WATCH | PHOTOS)

Can Kelly Kelly continue to hold the Divas Title she has worked so hard for, or will The Glamazon show the WWE Universe exactly who is pin-up strong? Find out at SummerSlam, Sunday, Aug. 14 at 8/5 PT, only on pay-per-view.

World Heavyweight Champion Christian vs. Randy Orton - No Holds Barred Match

At SummerSlam, World Heavyweight Champion Christian will attempt to cool the intense heat of his No. 1 contender Randy Orton in a brutal No Holds Barred Match for the World Title.
The epic showdown was created by WWE’s new Chief Operating Officer Triple H on the July 29 edition of SmackDown (WATCH), in the midst of a sea of controversy surrounding the circumstances by which Christian captured his second World Title from The Viper at WWE’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view. (PHOTOS)
But, ultimately, the fuse for the explosive rivalry between Christian and Randy Orton was lit just five days after Christian fulfilled a lifelong dream, winning the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time at Extreme Rules (PHOTOS). Before his reign could even get off the ground, Randy Orton pinned his shoulders to the mat on the very next SmackDown and shattered his whole world. WWE’s Apex Predator then defeated his prey again in a hard-fought rematch at WWE Capitol Punishment.
Over the next several weeks, Christian’s inability to recover the illustrious title started to eat away at him. Already convinced that he could beat The Viper, he began to believe that SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long, Orton and even the WWE Universe were ultimately preventing him from reclaiming what was rightfully his.
Refusing to speak directly to the WWE Universe any longer, the resentful Christian soon enlisted the help of lawyers to correct what he believed was an unlevel playing field. This led to a special condition in the contract for his World Heavyweight Championship Match with Orton at Money in the Bank: If Orton was disqualified, Christian would automatically be awarded the title.
Once such a stipulation was in place, controversy seemed inevitable. And when Christian spat in the face of his adversary during their pay-per-view battle, Orton would be unable to stop his uncontrollable rage. Hitting his No.1 contender with a low blow, The Viper was immediately disqualified. And regardless of what the stunned WWE Universe thought, Christian once again held the title in his grasp. (PHOTOS)
No matter how Christian won the World Heavyweight Championship, no one can deny his tremendous ability in the ring. But, with no a disqualification clause to stand behind, can he overcome the uncontainable anger of Randy Orton at the Biggest Event of the Summer? Find out at SummerSlam, Sunday Aug. 14 at 8/4 PT, only on pay-per-view.
