NFB Film Club

The NFB Film Club is back for 2011 with two great features. Join us for an afternoon of Canadian films presented by the National Film Board of Canada on Saturday January 29th at 2:00pm. Come enjoy the animated short, Pierogie Pinch. As a young woman finds herself lost in daydreams while clumsily making traditional pierogies, she invokes the presence of her grandmother, who guides her through the messy ritual. Also showing Invisible City, Academy Award-nominated director Hubert Davis’s acclaimed documentary about transformation – of an inner-city community and of personal identity. This is a free double feature and everyone is welcome to attend.
