Molly Update

It turns out Molly the calico cat has a stone in her bladder that is too big for her to pass naturally. Her veterinarian has recommended that we try a special food to dissolve the stone so she can pass it. If that doesn't work, the next option is surgery to the tune of $300 to $350, and we've already spent about $200. At least I don't have to give her any more pills. Frankly, I think she's been feeling a bit better since going off of the antibiotics Monday, when she went into hiding to avoid them. Our friend Doug, who lives nearby, has agreed to look in on the cats while we're on vacation, which is a relief.
